Jump Start with Alfresco
A pre-configured server appliance built for people looking to adopt or explore the utilization of a CMS tool to strategically track and manage content. The “sandbox” will include the necessary CMS platform and client tools for personnel to utilize real company content. Certified service providers are also provided to help your end customers become comfortable and more knowledgeable about the CMS technology offering. The appliance will be sent to end users to use for up to 60 days.

Investment Tactics:
- The preconfigured Jump-Start appliance consisting of:
- Red Hat RHEL 5.0 Enterprise
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform
- Alfresco products CMS, Share and WCM products
- Database: choice of Ingres or EnterpriseDB
- Monitoring Tool: Zenoss
- HP DL160 G5
- Deploy and establish a Content Management platform for shared files/folders, a document repository or other managed content
- Configure and install an Alfresco based platform and associated client tools for tracking and managing files, folders and other content
- Mentor staff on the CMS technology and use of the necessary client tools along with any appropriate documentation
Average Duration of Service: 3 days on-site service with a certified SYNNEX service provider at the end customer site.
Additional suggested end customer investment:
- Personnel available for mentoring
- Examples of content to include documents, data files, script, images, etc.
- If available, some existing content requirements are made available for discussion purposes
- Use case scenarios discussed for possible implementation
